A pilot puts Slotwise to work on your own promotions, so you can judge it on real results before you sign a full contract.

  • Six weeks of Pro-tier access, on your own data
  • One category team
  • Success criteria agreed up front
  • An executive readout at week six

$7,500 / 6 weeks

What Slotwise costs against your trade budget

Trade spend typically runs to 15–25% of gross revenue (Strategy&/PwC), and 59% of promotions worldwide lose money (McKinsey). Enter your revenue and trade budget to see what Slotwise would cost as a share of that spend, and what an improvement worth 1–2% of it would come to.

≈ 20% of revenue (typically 15–25%).

Recommended tier Growth · $15,000/yr For trade budgets of $2M–$15M, with unlimited seats
An improvement worth 1–2% of that spend $50k–$100k/yr
Multiple of the price 3–7×

This is an estimate of the opportunity, not a promise.

The estimate counts only an improvement worth 1–2% of your trade budget. It leaves out planner hours saved and clashes caught before the catalogue prints, so it sizes the opportunity rather than promising a result.

Sources: Strategy& (PwC) for trade spend at 15–25% of gross revenue, and McKinsey for the 59% of promotions worldwide that lose money.

The same maths, three company sizes

Here is the calculator’s method run for three brands. Each has a trade budget of 20% of revenue, the middle of the typical 15–25%, and the table shows the tier that budget lands in and what an improvement worth 1–2% of it comes to.

What you can check from day one

  • Trade spend under control. Every promotional dollar is planned, costed and approved in one place, and in the three examples above Slotwise costs 0.15–0.42% of it.
  • Spend at risk, caught in time. Clashing promotions on the same product, and promotions below your own ROI target, are flagged while they’re still being planned.

Both figures come from the Performance Summary and the clash list, and the three-sheet export lets your finance team re-derive them.

Straight answers

How much does Slotwise cost?

There are four published tiers. Billed yearly, Starter costs $349 a month, Growth $1,250 and Pro $2,500, and Enterprise is tailored from $60,000 a year. If you’d rather prove it first, a six-week paid pilot costs $7,500, and half of it ($3,750) is credited to your first year when you continue.

Which tier is right for me?

Starter gets one planning team of up to three people off spreadsheets. Growth adds unlimited seats, retailer views, approvals, Suggestion Mode and the AI assistant, and Pro adds the built-in forecasting model and calibration. Pro also gives each retailer, zone or channel its own price list, and each retailer its own trade terms, switched on when you want them, so margin reads net of every term. The calculator above suggests a tier from your trade budget, and if you start lower, moving up later is pro-rated.

Do you offer a free trial?

We don’t offer a free trial. Instead, there’s a paid six-week pilot with Pro-tier access on your own data, with success criteria agreed up front and a readout at week six. If you’d rather just start, Starter, Growth and Pro can all be billed monthly.

How do you measure the value Slotwise delivers?

We only report what we can prove from your own data. That means the trade spend you manage in Slotwise, and the at-risk spend it surfaces: promotions clashing on the same product, and promotions below your own ROI target, caught while they were still being planned. Both come from the Performance Summary and the clash list, so you can check them yourself.

We already run on spreadsheets. Is this a big switch?

No, the switch is designed to be small. You can import your current file in an afternoon, keep exporting whenever you like, and connect an AI assistant (Growth and above) or the REST API (Pro and above) when you’re ready.

How does billing work?

Annual plans are billed once a year and work out two months cheaper than paying monthly. Growth, for example, is $15,000 a year, against $18,000 over twelve monthly payments. Prices are in US dollars, and we can invoice in AUD, GBP or EUR on request, with Australian contracts billed in AUD.

Is our data safe?

Yes. Each organisation’s data is walled off in the database itself, and access follows roles from viewer to admin, with single sign-on on Growth and above. Status changes, approvals, period locks, imports and accepted suggestions go to an audit trail, tokens are personal and expire, and an AI assistant can only propose changes for a person to accept.
