Dispatch each job to the technician who makes it pay

Jobs waiting to go out sit in an Unassigned row, with your crew below it. Drag a job onto a technician, or split it across two, and its card works out the revenue, the crew’s pay including penalty rates, the margin and the ROI as you go. The engine is live in trade promotion today, and the dispatch layer is what we’re designing now with partners.

Concept with fictional data: how a dispatch board could work.

What a dispatch board has to get right

Every job you assign changes who is free, what the job costs and what it’s worth. On a whiteboard or in a spreadsheet, none of that is priced until the timesheets come in.

Who a job really costs to send
Each technician has their own rate, and hours past a normal day run into overtime. Weekend and after-hours work costs more again, so the same job can make money with one person and lose it with another.
One technician, two jobs
Technicians are booked across sites and customers, and a double booking often only surfaces on the day, when someone is already on the tools elsewhere.
Not every job is worth the same
A repair, an install and an inspection each carry their own price and parts cost. Sending your most expensive technician to your least valuable job quietly eats the margin.
Planned work competes with reactive work
A breakdown pushes planned maintenance back, and on a whiteboard the knock-on effect for the rest of the week stays out of sight until jobs start slipping.

Try the jobs on the board above with different technicians. The margin changes with penalty rates and overtime as you drag, and the card warns you when someone isn’t available or doesn’t have the skill.

The brands behind our experience

The experience behind Slotwise wasn’t built at Slotwise. It comes from our founder’s work deploying trade promotion management with some of the best-known consumer brands and retailers in Australia, and Slotwise is built on the lessons from that work. These are some of the businesses behind our experience.

  • The Arnott’s Group
  • Campbell’s
  • Kellogg’s
  • Endeavour Group
  • BWS
  • Dan Murphy’s
  • Carlton & United Breweries
  • Asahi Beverages

These names and logos belong to their owners. They show where our experience comes from, not a customer relationship or an endorsement of Slotwise.

What a dispatch board like this would do for your business

Every job you send out has a price, a cost and a margin, and the person you send decides most of it. We’re designing this board so you can see those numbers while you dispatch. That means more margin from the same work, and a calmer week for your crew.

  • Know what each job makes before it goes out

Each job’s card would show its revenue, the crew’s pay including penalty rates, its margin and its ROI as you assign it. A summary for the day would show how many jobs are still unassigned, how busy each person is and what the day is making.

  • Plan the day around who can do the work

You’d see each job’s priority, due window and required skill next to your crew’s availability and skills, so you can send each job to someone who is free and holds the right ticket. Planned and reactive work would share the board, so a breakdown’s knock-on effect would show straight away.

  • See which jobs lose money, and fix them

Jobs where overtime or weekend and after-hours rates eat the margin would be flagged before you commit. You could send the job to the technician who makes it pay, move it to a normal day, or split it across two people.

  • AI that suggests, a dispatcher who decides

When a breakdown lands, Claude could propose where the displaced jobs should go. Your dispatcher would accept or decline each proposal, the same way AI proposals already work on our live trade promotion board.

What’s built, and what we’d build with you

Slotwise is a slotting-board engine: rows of whatever you schedule, a timeline, and events you drag. Trade promotion runs on it today, and a dispatch board would run on the same engine, with a service layer we design together with partners.

Already built

Live in trade promotion
  • The board gives you rows, a timeline and bars you drag, zoomed by day, week or month.
  • Clash checks flag a double booking right on the board.
  • Approvals, period locks and the audit trail make sure only the right roles can change approved or locked work, and every override is recorded.
  • Live collaboration lets several people work on one board, with changes appearing for everyone without a refresh.
  • Suggestion review and AI over MCP let Claude propose changes into a review tray, where a person accepts each one.
  • Import, export and sign-in cover spreadsheets in both directions and Google or Microsoft single sign-on.

What we’d build with you

Future state
  • Assets, technicians and bays would sit on the board as rows, grouped by site or line.
  • Planned and reactive work would share one board, with service intervals and work orders side by side.
  • Dispatch rules would flag a double booking, or a job outside a shutdown window, as you drag.
  • Skills matching would offer a job only to technicians who hold the right ticket.
  • Parts and permit readiness would show whether each job is ready to start.
  • AI that proposes reschedules would let Claude suggest where displaced jobs go when a breakdown lands, for a dispatcher to accept or decline.

None of this is built yet. We’d design each piece with partners, starting from your rules and your data.

How the design partner program works

We work with a small group of teams, over a few working sessions each, and shape a dispatch board around your real crews, jobs and data.

  1. Register interest

Tell us what you dispatch today and what goes wrong. The form below simply opens an email to us.

  2. Discovery session

We walk through your jobs, your crew and your rules, with the people who’ll build the board.

  3. Co-design

Over a few sessions we build a working board together and load it with your data.

  4. Early access

Your team uses the board first and has a direct say in what gets built next.

What we ask

  • Time for a few working sessions
  • Sample data you’re allowed to share
  • Honest feedback, including what’s wrong

What you get

  • Early access to the board
  • A direct line to the people building it
  • Influence over the roadmap

More about the design partner program

Become a design partner for service boards

Tell us what you dispatch today and where it goes wrong. If there’s a fit, we’ll reply to set up a discovery session.

  • This site stores nothing you type. The form only prepares an email for you to send.
  • If you’d rather write it yourself, email info@neuralpeak.io.

A few sentences is plenty: how you do it now, and where it goes wrong.

This opens your email app with your details filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send.

Before you register

Is it built?

The engine is built and live in trade promotion, but the dispatch layer isn’t built yet. Crews and assets as rows, dispatch rules and skills matching are what we’d build with partners, and the board at the top of this page is a concept with fictional data.

What does registering commit us to?

Nothing at all. Registering sends us an email, and if there’s a fit we’ll suggest a discovery session. You can stop at any point.

Is our data safe?

Registering sends an email from your own email app, and this site stores nothing you type. If you join the program, you choose which sample data to share with us.
